When I photograph a newborn, their safety is always my top priority. While yes, I would love to get "the shot", keeping the baby as safe as possible 100% of the time is always my main goal. I am so honored that parents of these newborns trust me and hand their entire world over to me. It's a blessing and I definitely don't take that for granted.
For this shot, I shot it as a composite. There were always two firm hands on baby Olivia to keep her safe. This was a tricky shot because there were a lot of elements that I couldn't control since I was outside. It wasn't a windy day and little Olivia was in a very deep sleep, but again, there were hands on her the entire time I shot these pictures.
Annnnnnnnd the final shot!
