in the middle of this family session, two year old Arley looked around the room and said, "it's just a beautiful mess!" yes, Arley, I think you're right.
I moved to St. Paul! I left my first home on first street and moved up to the cities for the community, art, and coffee shops. I couldn't be more excited to establish myself in this incredibly beautiful and historic city, connect with new artists and friends, and build a new base of clients to photograph since I'm now serving the Twin Cities area. Rochester clients, this changes almost nothing. I'm serious. I'll be back to Rochester on the weekly just for you (and my mom's home cooked meals) - so I'll never miss that two week newborn window or the gorgeous fall colors in October. I've been photographing families in Rochester for over six years now and that city + the people in it hold my heart. I could never move too far away.
What does this mean for you? It means that if you live in Rochester, I'll still be traveling back to photograph your family. I typically book one-two months in advance however, so if you're looking to get something on the calendar, keep that timeframe in mind. If you live in St. Paul, Minneapolis, or the surrounding areas, I would love to photograph your family in the cities! Let's connect and make some images together, yes?
I'm deliriously excited for this next chapter and I hope you'll follow along!
Up first is a crazy cute family that I photographed within walking distance from my new home. The Monson family is heading to Africa to work as missionaries for Wycliffe Bible Translators. They'll be heading overseas in January and I'm so grateful that we could squeeze in some family photos before their big adventure begins.
